Welcome to KidsOnTrip – Association for Families and Children Travelling (“KidsOnTrip”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By using our website or booking our childcare services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. Service Provider

2. Scope of Our Services

KidsOnTrip arranges and organises childcare for families during their stay in Vienna. Our services include in particular:

• Hotel babysitting
• Evening childcare
• Childcare at events
• Family assistance
• Additional childcare hours

The type, duration, and scope of childcare depend on the package booked and the family’s individually agreed requirements.

Our services are offered subject to the availability of suitable childcare providers.

3. Booking and Conclusion of Contract

A booking request does not constitute a binding booking.

A contract is concluded only after KidsOnTrip has confirmed the availability of a suitable childcare provider in writing and the customer has made the agreed payment.

The family must provide complete and accurate information when making a booking. This includes in particular:

• The child’s name and age
• The requested date and childcare hours
• The name and address of the hotel or event venue
• Contact details of the parents or legal guardians
• Allergies, health conditions, and any other information relevant to the provision of childcare
• The preferred childcare language

KidsOnTrip must be informed immediately of any changes.

4. Prices and Payment

The applicable prices are stated on our website or in an individual quotation.

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered on the website. A booking becomes binding only after our written confirmation and, where agreed, receipt of payment.

Unless otherwise agreed, additional childcare hours are charged at EUR 30 per hour per childcare provider.

Admission tickets, travel expenses, and other costs incurred in connection with family assistance or an event are not included in the childcare fee unless expressly agreed otherwise.

5. Obligations of Parents and Legal Guardians

Before childcare begins, the parents or legal guardians must disclose all information relevant to the child’s safety and care.

They must remain reachable by telephone throughout the childcare period and provide KidsOnTrip and the childcare provider with a current telephone number.

Any necessary medication may be administered only by prior express agreement and on the basis of clear written instructions.

For childcare provided at a hotel, the parents must ensure that the childcare provider has access to the agreed hotel room or childcare location.

6. Delays and Extension of Childcare

The agreed childcare period may be extended only with the childcare provider’s consent and subject to their availability.

Additional childcare time will be charged at the agreed hourly rate. Any additional hour that has commenced may be charged as a full hour.

The parents must return at the agreed time or inform the childcare provider in good time of any possible delay.

7. Changes and Cancellations

Any changes to or cancellations of a confirmed booking must be communicated to KidsOnTrip in writing as early as possible.

The applicable cancellation terms will be provided during the booking process or in the booking confirmation.

If the childcare provider has already arrived at the agreed location, at least the agreed minimum booking period will be charged.

If KidsOnTrip is unable to provide a childcare provider due to unforeseen circumstances, any payments already made for services not provided will be refunded. Any further claims remain unaffected to the extent provided by law.

8. Liability

KidsOnTrip carefully selects childcare providers and endeavours to ensure the reliable and professional performance of the agreed services.

Liability is governed by the applicable statutory provisions. To the extent permitted by law, liability for slight negligence is limited to foreseeable damage typical of the contract.

This limitation of liability does not apply to personal injury or in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

KidsOnTrip is not liable for damage resulting from incomplete, inaccurate, or delayed information provided by the parents or legal guardians.

9. Website Use and Copyright

The website may be used only for lawful purposes.

In particular, users are not permitted to:

• Use the website to send spam or other unlawful messages;
• Gain unauthorised access to the website, its systems, or servers;
• Copy, distribute, or commercially use website content without prior written consent.

All texts, graphics, images, logos, and service descriptions published on this website are protected by copyright and may not be used or reproduced without prior written consent.

10. External Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites.

The respective operators of those external websites are solely responsible for their content, security, and privacy practices.

11. Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and the applicable data protection legislation.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Austrian law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

For consumers, this choice of law applies only to the extent that it does not restrict any mandatory statutory protections afforded by the laws of the country in which they are habitually resident.

The statutory rules on jurisdiction apply to any disputes.

13. Amendments to These Terms and Conditions

We may amend these Terms and Conditions where necessary due to legal, technical, or organisational developments.

As a general rule, each booking is governed by the version of the Terms and Conditions in force at the time the contract was concluded.
